Instructor Bio

Jeff is an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, Glock Pistol Instructor, and Certified Glock Armorer. He can teach you to shoot, and meet the training requirements you need to get your Florida concealed weapons permit. Jeff’s teaching style is supportive and enjoyable, unlike many Florida gun permit instructors who seem to enjoy talking down to new shooters just so they can boost their own egos.

 Jeff has been a Police Officer or Armed Executive Protection Specialist since 1986. His assignments have included working undercover in a high school as a student, hunting war criminals as the team leader of a United Nations International Police SWAT team in war-torn Kosovo, and training overseas police officers in firearms and special tactics.

While serving as a local police officer here in Florida, Jeff became a well respected police field training officer, responsible for training new police officers fresh out of the police academy. He enjoyed teaching new police officers how to survive on the streets, and now passes some of those same critical skills on to his Florida concealed weapons permit class students.

The nature of Jeff’s work has always required him to be armed, so he knows what you need to know to be a safe and confident armed citizen. As a the owner of a licensed executive protection agency here in Florida, Jeff is required to work armed. Jeff must keep his own skills and tactics up to date – unlike the many dentists, plumbers, and other people that somehow claim to be your best choice in Florida concealed weapons permit class instructors.
